DoD Skillbridge

The DOD SkillBridge program is an opportunity for service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service. Student Assistant (Engineer)

Support the maintenance and upgrading of the cyber range infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network components. 

Develop and maintain documentation related to cyber range environments to including design, setup, and execution. Develop and maintain automated processes for cyber range exercises, including data capture, analysis, and reporting. 

Work with Cyber Range Architect, Cyber Range Buildmaster, Cyber Range Engineer, and Cyber Range Director to determine and prioritize seamless integration of cyber range environments with other initiatives.

Student Assistant (Developer)

Perform upstream development activities that support the operation of the Cyber Range, to include activities in the OpenStack, Ceph, Salt, and other related projects. These activities will include working with a large, diverse community of developers to achieve a common set of development and operational goals.

Internal development activities that include custom patches in Cyber Range software, supporting frameworks, and other work on code-driven workflows.

Work with Cyber Range Architect, Cyber Range Buildmaster, Cyber Range Engineer, and Cyber Range Director to determine and prioritize upstream development tasks needed to perform technology integrations. Assist with testing of code developed to enable these features.
